June 10 2009 Montreal Quebec, June 10, 2009, SIR Solutions celebrated the official opening of its new offices by welcoming its business partners, clients, counsellors, retailers and friends.
SIR Solutions is used by more than 35 banners and supports more than 2,200 points of sale installed in some 1,500 stores across Canada. To keep up with its continuing growth, SIR Solutions has hired more than 50 human resource people during the last five years.
The company had to move in order to increase the efficiency of its client support and service.
As Yves Bourdua, Vice-President, Finance and Operations, says, “For SIR Solutions, 2009 is a year of challenges and changes.”
Today, the business environment is more complex and faster paced than when POS systems were introduced. We are maximizing the functionality and tools of the operations management software program.
New head-office development requirements are moving towards analysis of centralized data, gift cards and electronic coupons that are now replacing the point of sale step.
“These new service demands are now non-stop and omnipresent and we are creating new formulas to respond to them. We are always training new resource personnel and never stop working to improve our competencies in this new reality of the retail business world,” confirms Company President Gilles Beauchamp.
